DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Gabriel Carneiro is a journalist, filmmaker, film critic, and researcher, with a master degree in Multimedia at Unicamp. Founding member of ABRACCINE - Brazilian Association of Film Critics, he currently writes for Revista de CINEMA, Cinequanon site, and Itaú Cultural's Brazilian Film Encyclopaedia, among others. He is the author of the book Quem apertou o botão de pânico? – A ficção científica norte-americana e a Guerra Fria entre 1950 e 1964 (in press). He did research assistance for the documentary feature film Ozualdo Candeias e o Cinema (2013), by Eugenio Puppo. As a director and screenwriter, he made the short films Death and Death of Johnny Zombie (2011), Batchan (2013), and Triumpho St. (2016).
